You can also fill out a contact form to let us know your specific needs in advance. After purchasing your tickets, you can use the same form to request free admission for a companion (on presentation of proof of entitlement marked “need for accompaniment”).

– In the performance venues, personalised assistance can be arranged. Feel free to speak with our volunteers, who can be identified by an FMTM badge. Venue managers are trained to accommodate disabled audiences.
– Chairs are available at entrances for those who have difficulty standing while waiting.
Acceo
To improve communication for people who are deaf, hard of hearing or aphasic, the FMTM ticket office can be reached via the Acceo digital service. This app allows you to communicate by phone or face-to-face, with support from a qualified operator.
How does it work?
1. Download the free Acceo app onto your computer, tablet or smartphone.
2. Contact us via the app or via the link here.
3. Choose your prefered communication method from the available options.
4. An Acceo operator will assist in real-time communication between you and our team.

Programme
The FMTM programme will soon be available in several accessible formats:
– A Microsoft Word version, compatible with screen readers. For easier navigation, the information is split into three documents: shows, practical information and other events.
– A selection of 10 shows (the synopses will soon be translated into FALC (Easy-to-Read French).
Pictograms indicate the accessibility features of each show:

For people with reduced mobility / For the deaf and hearing impaired people / For the blind and partially sighted people / For people with mental disabilities / Adapted into French Sign Language / Presence of bright lights or flashes / Sound intensity or presence of detonations
Mobility
A simplified version of the festival map is available below. It features less dense information, larger text, higher contrast and the accessible Luciole font. We recommend printing it in A3 format for optimal readability.
The StreetNav app is an inclusive pedestrian GPS designed to meet the mobility needs of everyone: people in wheelchairs, parents with stollers, visually impaired individuals, elderly people, and more. It suggests adapted routes that avoid obstacles (stairs, roadworks, narrow pavements, etc.) and adjusts paths in real time. The city of Charleville-Mézières is now mapped in the application using data from the StreetCo collaborative platform. You can contribute to this mapping by reporting accessible streets or obstacles encountered. The service is free and available on iOS and Android smartphones.
Inclusion
Several shows and workshops are specifically designed to be inclusive:
- Filles & Soie pour toutes et tous by Compagnie les Bas-Bleus was created with universal accessibility in mind. Avec le soutien du Rotary Club Charleville
– A sensory workshop for visually impaired participants will be held on 24 September from 11am to 12pm at the Citadelle, with Compagnie Les Bas-Bleus.
– The show Plan B by Compagnie La Petite Hurlante will be performed at the CRFE in Warnécourt and at Charleville-Mézières prison.
The FMTM applies a reduced price for AAH (disability allowance) recipients
Every year, the FMTM donates tickets to the Culture du Cœur association, which redistributes them to organisations such as CADEF 08, Dest1 Sedan, L’Espérance Sedan, GEM le Moulin, Femmes relais 08 and Femmes ressources Charleville.
People with disabilities are also actively involved in the festival. For example, members of the GEM TC Le Moulin will volunteer during the Construction Monumentale workshops
Let’s make FMTM even more accessible — together!
As part of its ongoing accessibility efforts, the Festival Mondial des Théâtres de Marionnette organises meetings in July with professionnals working in the field of disability and social services. These sessions offer an opportunity to present a selection of accessible shows and gather feedback from the field.
An accessibility audit is currently underway to help identify areas for improvement. To share your feedback on the festival accessibility, you’re welcome to fill out the form below that best matches your situation:
