And so the 22nd edition of the World Festival of Puppet Theatres draws to a close. Thank you to all the volunteers, partners, technicians, artists and festival-goers! Thank you for these wonderful moments of sharing, meeting and joy. A great 22nd edition, a real collective success!

The 22nd edition of the Festival Mondial des Théâtres de Marionnettes kicked off on Saturday in the presence of our partners and sponsors.452 performances played by 87 artistic teams coming from 25 countries.9 days of celebration for 150,000 spectators from all over the world.

On the occasion of the bicentenary of the birth of Maurice Sand (1823-1889), the Centre for National Monuments, the FMTM and the Musée de l’Ardenne are joining forces in 2023 to organise an exhibition on puppet theatre.
