This hybrid approach explores new forms of expression through a period of research focused on displacement, intimacy, and the home. By combining their artistic practices, Célia and Jossia experiment with various materials and forms to manipulate and transform, such as string puppets, sand, and drawing. Their gestures and mediums interact to give rise to a shared artistic language.
Célia Hue pursued her higher education at the École Supérieure d’Arts Plastiques et de Scénographie de Monaco. There, she developed an artistic practice that blends sound design, sculpture, drawing, and animation. Her journey led her to puppetry and object theater, particularly during a stint at the HMDK* in Stuttgart. In 2023, she worked with the AÏE AÏE AÏE collective on the show Jean-Clone and simultaneously developed her first show, YSS.
Jossia Clément began her career as a professional dancer in Germany after graduating from the Palucca University of Dance Dresden. She then hung up her ballet shoes to explore new horizons. A degree in Applied Arts and Ceramics in France, followed by a stint at the École Supérieure d’Arts Plastiques et de Scénographie de Monaco, allowed her to spread her wings and create nonstop!
