Residencies in October
In October, the Pôle is hosting five residencies!
Residencies creation
Exploration of puppets – on stage
Elsa Revcolevschi, a graduate of the Théâtre National de Strasbourg, will run a laboratory focusing on text, puppetry and stage from 5 to 9 October, as part of her creative project based on Nicolas Girard-Michelotti’s play Mon Pays de terre rouge.
She is joined by Luana Montabonel and Elise Cornille, both graduates of the 13th class at ESNAM
Robot puppets and dance
From 12 to 23 October, the Pôle will welcome Christine Amanger – Louve theatre company – and her team to carry out research into robotic puppetry and dance, for a show inspired by Le roman de Renart.
Graduate residency
Exploration on stage and construction
From 19 to 23 October, Raphaëll Dupuy (a 13th-class graduate) and the team from his company, Intramusculaire, will be welcomed to develop Cas de figure, which was originally presented in June 2024 as one of the three Cartes Blanches graduation projects by the 13th class of ESNAM.
Research residencies
Study of movement
Puppeteer Tristan Lacaze (NoS CRÆTHERA company – 11th class of the ESNAM) will be in residence at the Documentation Centre from 5 to 16 October to carry out research into the mechanisms and joints used in puppet-making.
Preparing a thesis
Alice Jäger will continue the research she began during previous residencies, with a view to completing her thesis on the representation of minority experiences in contemporary puppet theatre, from 25 October to 6 November.
