A Traveller arrives with her kit house on her back and gradually sets up a house, a sort of itinerant refuge in full view of the children present. She builds her hut in full view of and in collaboration with the children, using the various materials that make it up: wooden strips, fabric, Plexiglas, paint, etc.

Fanny Bouffort

Inspired by a geological fault, this miniature landscape installation is an invitation to pass beneath the earth’s crust, to slip into the crack, to compose, assemble, make and unmake the landscape, to literally move mountains. To cross the landscape is to transform it, to modify it, to leave a trace of one’s passage.
 The installation is made up of dozens of handmade objects in chestnut, cherry, pine and beech; inspired by the shape of Scandinavian runes, they represent humanist ideas and concepts, interlocking, dissociating and assembling ad infinitum.

Rabāb is a collective creation, between Mahtab Mokhber and the Ouest of center company, around a human-sized puppet, manipulated by two actresses. This creation delves into the reservoir of our memory and tells of the forgotten women of our lives, remembering their names and their gestures. Invisible but ever-present women who surround us, give birth to us, and are part of who we are.

Ginette Guirolle, full of gouaille, takes the zinc. Her whole life unfolds before our eyes, almost like a documentary: the portrait of a woman who became a young girl during the 2nd World War, a woman, a wife then a lover, then one day an orphan, and another day a mother then a grandmother… A life. The humanity of the character lies in her naivety, even in her revolt against the occupation, against anti-Semitism, racism and death. That’s the beauty of Ginette, this universal, timeless, necessary point of revolt that allows us to find common sense in the intimacy of bars.

L’Isle aux Singe, the reverie of a mysterious music group, plunges into the Western imagery of monkeys and shares its journey with us. A musical, hallucinatory and sometimes grotesque ritual, L’Isle aux Singes uses a protean language borrowed from ethology, cinema and pop culture to invite us to return to the wild, where humans make way and observe.

For this new production, the company is tackling the construction of the ‘Other’, the invention of the ‘savage’, which combines human exhibitions and scientific research into ‘races’.
