Temps d’M is a puppetry event held one year before the World Puppet Theater Festival, from September 16 to 20, 2026, which showcases artistic experimentation, research, and emerging talent.
Temps d’M features 23 shows for all ages, held in theaters and public spaces, as well as in bars and media libraries, along with workshops, participatory performances, roundtable discussions, and meet-and-greets.

Research residency in July on the “Potehi in motion”
This research residency brings together puppeteer and researcher Hsu Chia-fen (Taiwan) and master puppeteer Yeung Faï (France/Hong Kong), from 6 to 17 July, to explore Potehi as a living system of transmission, pedagogy and artistic creation.
Mask making workshop
Come create a one-of-a-kind mask in just a few hours!
Horns, mandibles, pincers, and antennae will all be part of this insect-themed workshop.
Each child will go home with their own mask.

“Polichinelle’s Happy Journey”
Polichinelle, an iconic figure of Neapolitan folk theater, comes to life under the expert hand of Philippe Saumont, one of the few French puppeteers trained in Naples. Despite limited mobility, he returns with a funny, clownish show in which Polichinelle defies everything—even death—to make young and old alike laugh out loud.
