Temps d’M 2026

From September 16 to 20, more than 5,000 spectators (including 4,100 in the theater) discovered the immense talent of young puppeteers from Ukraine, Estonia, Norway, Belgium, Germany, and France.

“Hybridités” and “Auteurs en tandem” (workshops for pairs consisting of puppeteers and non-puppeteer artists), the “Têtes chercheuses” (roundtable discussions on art research), hands-on workshops, works by students and recent graduates from European schools, the “Barionnettes” (puppets in bars), and the procession of a deer puppet from the Ronde Couture to the Place Ducale have definitively shaped the identity of this event, which has become a must-attend.

Complementing the World Puppet Theater Festival, Temps d’M has established itself as a one-of-a-kind festival: it gives pride of place to artistic experimentation, celebrates European youth, and promotes artistic research.

Acclaimed by a large, enthusiastic, and international audience (USA, Canada, United Arab Emirates, Japan, Norway, Estonia, United Kingdom, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Croatia, Spain, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands), Temps d’M is “the” artistic hub watched closely by the entire world, once again cementing Charleville-Mézières’ status as the world capital of puppetry.
