How can two mediums separated by a screen come together to tell a shared story? By combining puppetry and video, and by blending their experiences and artistic practices, Élise and Adrien explore how the internet can shape our sense of self. How can a virtual space help us find a space of our own? Can we be in real life who we are online?

During her studies at ESNAM, Élise Cornille discovered a new relationship with objects and images. There, she developed an artistic approach focused on listening and sensory perception, set against the backdrop of the Meuse River’s bends and the surrounding forests. As both a performer and a creator, she works with the company Déchets Ultimes and continues her exploration of self-construction.

Adrien Cleuet grew up glued to a screen. As a child, his father would turn on the TV to wake him up. For his 5th birthday, he gave him an old laptop. After attending an animation film school, he worked in television and continued to explore what connects and disconnects us from one another, or from reality. He explores our relationship with interfaces, expressing it through video.
