“L’Heureux tour de Polichinelle”
35 minutes / ages 5 and up
Glove puppet
Polichinelle, an iconic figure of Neapolitan folk theater, comes to life under the expert hands of Philippe Saumont, one of the few French puppeteers trained in Naples. Despite limited mobility, he returns with a funny, clownish show in which Polichinelle defies everything—even death—to make young and old alike laugh out loud.
Philippe Saumont will also lead a hands-on workshop for amateurs to discover Neapolitan glove puppetry on Saturday, May 30, from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. More info
