VAE

Le Diplôme National Supérieur Professionnel de Comédien (National professional diploma in acting) specializing in actor-puppeteers can be awarded by Validation des Acquis de l’Expérience (Validation of acquired experience – VAE) to candidates who can prove that they have acquired skills through salaried, unsalaried, voluntary or other activities directly related to the activities and skills defined in the diploma reference framework.

Eligibility booklet: the duly completed eligibility booklet must be returned to the Pôle International de la Marionnette – Jacques Félix, digitally, at contact@marionnette.com
Accompanied by the registration fee of €80 (registration fee payable upon receipt of the booklet, non-refundable):
– by bank tranfert, indicating your surname, first name and VAE in reference field (Pôle bank details : FR76 3000 4008 7100 0034 5287 783 – BNPAFRPPXXX ).
– or by cheque payable to Pôle International de la Marionnette – Jacques Félix, 7 pl Winston Churchill, 08000 Charleville-Mézières.

Application deadline: September 30, 2026

– Application processing: notification of the decision to accept the application will be sent to candidates 2 months maximum after the deadline for submission of the eligibility booklet.
Search for and confirmation of funding for the course (optional).

Validation procedure

Creation of a validation file describing the skills, competencies and knowledge you have acquired through your experience in the various activities you have carried out, directly linked to the DNSPC reference framework for the Actor-Puppeteer specialisation.
Deadline for submission: October 30, 2027

Payment of validation fees:
– 350€ as part of an individual financing.
– 700€ in the case of financing by a third party (company, organization, local authority,…). As ESNAM does not offer support for the VAE, you will not be able to benefit from funding by AFDAS or France Travail in this regard.
These rights remain vested in the Pôle International de la Marionnette regardless of the decision of the VAE jury.

Évaluation

  • Examination of the file and interview with the jury.
  • The jury may ask you to put your work situation into practice.
    The evaluation session takes place within two months from the date of notification of the admissibility decision.

Validation

  • Total validation: award of diploma
  • Or partial validation: in this case, the jury identifies the skills, competencies and knowledge that will be the subject of the additional assessment required to obtain the diploma.
  • Or duly motivated refusal.
    Validation jury: December 2027
