For five weeks, Clément and Mathilde explored textile thread and the concept of perspective. The thread became a material for puppetry and set design; the point of view sparked reflections on flight—what we flee from, what eludes us. From this laboratory emerged Déa, the creator of a small world inhabited by profound questions about humanity. The project is titled The Consequences of the Hole in the Fence.

Mathilde Peinetti is a puppeteer and actress who trained at ESNAM. She was notably involved in the creation of Juste Camille, a dance and object theater piece choreographed by Gaëlle Bourges. In 2025, she co-founded the Triskaïdékaphile collective and became a resident artist at the Jardin Parallèle in Reims. She contributed to the creation of Soupirs mouillés sous les talons, directed by Angélique Friant and Stéphane Blanquet, as a puppet builder and manipulator.

Clément Piednoel Duval is an author, director, and actor. Trained at the École Normale Supérieure in Paris and later at the École du Nord, he co-founded the Collectif Les 8 Poings. At the same time, he trained as a clown and pursued research in gender studies. As a collaborator with David Bobée, Armel Roussel, Céline Milliat Baumgartner, and Eva Doumbia, he has developed a body of work exploring ecological writing in theater. His play Et dire que j’ai ton sang dans mes veines received a creation grant from ARTCENA and was staged in 2026.
