Puppetry for all also means puppetry for inmates. Every year, the culture-justice partnership develops through workshops and shows organized by the Pôle International de la Marionnette – Jacques Félix in partnership with the Service Pénitentiaire d’Insertion et de Probation and the Charleville prison.
2025
The Pôle International de la Marionnette – Jacques Félix is offering prisoners the chance to create a paper theater show to be presented to the public at the Festival Mondial des Théâtres de Marionnettes. Narguess Majd ( Papierthéâtre company) will accompany them on this adventure.
2024
- Two shows: Tout ou rien by compagnie La Trouée and a second show performed by Elise Cornille and Mélody Shanty (graduates of ESNAM’s 13th graduating class).
- Workshops with five puppeteers: Améthyste Poinsot, Jurate Trimakaite, Narguess Majd, Elise Cornille and Mélody Shanty.
- A photographic exhibition in the ESNAM hall during Temps d’M 2024.
2023
- A show: La Forêt ça n’existe pas by the company Portés disparus.
- Workshops with five puppeteers: Eve Bigontina, Rik Faria De Oliveira, Elisza Peressoni, Coraline Charlier, Kristina Dimentieva and Pierre Dupont.
- Workshops with two guest professional: Hervé Dapremont (photographer) to take photos and teach photography to the inmates, Jérôme Descamps (from Pellicule ensorcelée) to show short films with puppets.
- A photographic exhibition on the Metropolis wall during FMTM 2023
