SOLAB#1

1^st solo experiment
By students from the 14^th class of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Arts de la Marionnette (1st year)

For this SOLAB#1 (Solo in Laboratory) at the end of the first year of study, each student will develop an individual experimental work based on a puppetry technique studied during the year.

This program, which will run throughout the three years of the curriculum, is supported in the first year by Aurélie Hubeau and Yaël Rasooly. Following on from these interventions, each student will work independently to refine his or her proposal with a view to public presentation.

The aim of this initial experimentation is to mobilize the knowledge acquired by appropriating a puppetry technique explored during the year, to deepen it and to infuse it with their own creativity in a personal work. The aim is for students to fully immerse themselves in the poetic and imaginary universe offered by the chosen instrument, exploring its possibilities to compose a singular form.

Each student will be accompanied by a fellow student who will act as an outside eye throughout the process.
