Deep in the American desert, Bud, a packrat and collector of human objects, is banished from home, when a discarded cigar sparks a wildfire. Bud sets out alone to face the fire and untold dangers. Blending puppetry, projections, and music, PACKRAT is a moving ecological fable about humanity’s bond with nature and Bud’s journey to find his place in the world.
