Thelastsunday x Jausmė – a friendship of two worlds, a unique creative project where electronic music compositions, Lithuanian lyrics, vocal textures, and elements of traditional kanklės and other live instruments come together. Come dance! 

thelastsunday (Rugilė Norbutaitė) is an electronic music creator whose work blends elements of electronics, live instruments, and Lithuanian lyrics. Starting with music production and songwriting, she later delved into sound engineering, expanding her understanding of electronic soundscape creation. Her music combines dance beats, string and brass textures, orchestral melodies, and percussion sounds from various cultures, adding an organic and experimental quality to her creations.

Jausmė (Jausmė Elena Stonkutė) is a distinctive singer, composer, and songwriter whose work stands out for the unique use of the Lithuanian zither-harp kanklės. As one of the first to introduce this folk instrument beyond Lithuania’s borders, she explores its potential in the context of contemporary music. Drawing inspiration from nature, Lithuanian roots, and folklore, Jausmė expertly blends tradition and innovation, unveiling the instrument’s capabilities and creating modern music that resonates with deep connections to the past and fresh ideas.
