Le vide entre la tête et la queue

December 2020 – ESNAM 12
Solo by Raquel Mutzenberg-Andrade
As part of the 3rd year
For many human beings, the events of 2020 show the limits of the capitalist system. In 1864, at the beginning of capitalism, Dostoyevsky wrote one of his rare fantastic short stories: the tale of a man confined to a crocodile, a story that was not very successful. I propose to write the continuation of the tale. A couple are confined in the belly of the beast. While the animal digests them, the dialogue between patriarchy and a feminist manifesto seeks a way out.
Based on the short story The Crocodile by Fyodor Dostoyevsky
