The International Puppetry Center – Jacques Félix hosts and supports research in the puppetry arts. Launched in 2025, the “Têtes chercheuses” initiative gives a platform to 11 recipients of the Ministry of Culture’s “Research in Theater and Related Arts” grant program.

ROUNDTABLE:

RESEARCH IN THE ART OF PUPPETRY

How is shared knowledge developed among the various stakeholders—researchers, artists, higher education institutions, and cultural organizations? What are the focus areas and formats of this research: research on, with, or through artistic practice? How is this research documented, shared, and archived?
