Empusa Abelha

In an intimate and enigmatic world, a creature awakens and begins a ritual of transformation, exploring its body and the space around it in a dance of becoming. Through ancestral echoes and a score with hints of silent film, the piece weaves together earth, wax, and memory, giving rise to poems of decomposition.
Inspired by insects and the strange, clownish beauty of life, Empusa Abelha invites the audience into a fragile space where endings and beginnings merge, and where its host constantly reinvents itself.
