Capillotractée Theatre Company in residence at Tremplin
The Pôle hosted the Capillotractée company from 2 to 13 March as part of a Graduate residency, a scheme aimed at recent ESNAM graduates.
This residency was designed to support the creation of the full-length version of the show “J’habite dans une grosse dame”, led by Luana Montabonel and based on her third-year solo piece at ESNAM, this time featuring two puppeteers on stage.
Two weeks at the ESNAM theatre, devoted to developing a piece on stage, combining puppetry and music.
Luana Montabonel was accompanied by Mathilde Peinetti and Maxence Moulin, who, like her, are graduates of the 13th class of ESNAM, as well as Tom Meyronnin, who was responsible for the music.
“Through the body, the voice and the material, ‘I Live in a Big Lady’ seeks to bring forth a sensitive and political voice: that of those whose bodies overflow, cause discomfort or instil fear.
How does one inhabit a fat body in a world that leaves no room for it? Through an approach that is at once poetic, political and sensory, the performance explores the body as an inhabited home, but also as an overly visible shell, an overflowing territory, too much matter: too present, too full, too disturbing.”
Creation is planned for 2027.
