Conference “Desire to Act” & Grand Oral for municipal election candidates, organised by Ma ville à vélo 08

An evening to get inspired, discuss and design the city of tomorrow together.

A partner of the Ma ville à vélo 08 Ardennes association since 2021, the Pôle International de la Marionnette sees this collaboration as part of a shared commitment to sustainable development issues.

The programme:

1/ Conference: “Desire to Act”
Presentation by Stein van Oosteren, author and iconic activist for active mobility.
Drawing on real-life stories and refreshing humour, he will immerse us in our contradictions when it comes to climate issues… and above all, he will show us that concrete action is possible, here and now.

2/ Municipal election candidates’ grand oral
And after the conference… it’s time for debate!
Municipal election candidates will be invited to express their views on the future of active mobility in Charleville-Mézières: cycling, walking, infrastructure, etc.

The evening will conclude with a convivial gathering and book signing for Stein van Oosteren’s latest work.
