Discovery and audience appreciation tour

The educational service offers a discovery and audience appreciation tour for students, which is arranged in the following way:

  • The discovery of an art school by means of a visit led by a professional puppeteer with support from the Institut International de la Marionnette team. The visit is approached through the lens of creation and practice; as such, the students are invited to manipulate the various puppets. Which explains the need for a visit with a group of 20 students. This is the only paying activity on the tour (50 €/hour).

  • This first approach to puppet theatre is complemented by a performance at ESNAM, systematically followed by a post-performance discussion with the students and the artist responsible for the staging.

  • And finally, to top off the tour, the Institute’s Resource Centre can arrange for the discovery of various resources on a technique, on a show or an emblematic company in puppetry (it will be a matter of working with a single class group here also).
